There simply are not enough resources today for everyone with a mental illness who needs help. It’s a crisis situation and the numbers are growing. We are a non-profit organization that helps start and grow Clubhouses globally where people can go to get their lives back.

Why Every Community Needs a Clubhouse
A key part of our work is to support the opening of new Clubhouses. Parents, lacking the resources to support their son’s mental illness, found Clubhouse International, completed our New Clubhouse Development training, and benefited from ongoing mentoring and technical assistance. In combination with a dedicated team of local advocates, Sand Creek Clubhouse recently opened—the first in Idaho, USA! Click here to learn more about our 30 Years of Change and join us for the next 30 years!
Join us and the Michigan Clubhouse Coalition for a week-long social media event, March 3-9, during which Clubhouse members from across the globe come together to celebrate our Clubhouses, and tell the world who we are! Together, we will: Celebrate our achievements; Raise visibility of the Clubhouse Model around the world and in local communities; Spread our stories of success; Honor our movement’s history and leaders. Visit the Facebook page or our web page to learn more.
Clubhouse International is partnering with Fountain House to power US Clubhouse Week of Action, May 19-23, 2025! We are inviting US Clubhouses to open their doors to elected officials, community leaders, and the media to highlight how our model transforms lives, strengthens communities, and is reshaping the narrative around mental health. Last year, 40 Clubhouses across 18 states and DC participated to explain the need for policies supporting psychosocial rehabilitation and mental health funding. Check out our most recent article which has been published by Business Insider, Yahoo News, Benzinga and nearly 300 more outlets.
