Why Every Community Needs a Clubhouse
Sweden is experiencing remarkable growth, now on track to reach 20 Clubhouses nationwide - a milestone originally set for 2030, but now expected already next year. Each new Clubhouse strengthens our global movement of belonging, opportunity, and recovery — shaping the future of mental health support worldwide.
Clubhouse International has been designated as a Center of Excellence (COE), for Clubhouse Services by the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS). As part of the DHCS BH-Connect initiative, which seeks to transform California’s behavioral health delivery system, Clubhouse International is working with Health
Management Associates (HMA) as they manage the COE agenda. We will provide training, technical assistance and fidelity monitoring to participating county behavioral health delivery systems and Clubhouse program providers to strengthen and expand community-based recovery opportunities. We are enthusiastic about this opportunity and will work closely with the Clubhouse Coalition of California as we grow the number of Accredited Clubhouses throughout the state!
Clubhouse International is partnering with Active Minds (Notre Dame Chapter), to help local Clubhouses in the U.S. connect with Active Minds chapters. This campus-based collaboration will advance understanding of mental illness and enhance community connections. Visit our website to learn more about how you can help your Clubhouse identify and strengthen connections with local universities.
