Today, Fountain House released a new report “Beyond Treatment: How Clubhouses for People Living with Serious Mental Illness Transform Lives and Save Money” showcasing the tremendous economic and societal benefit of Clubhouses.
Clubhouse International, in partnership with Fountain House (NY, USA) and other US advocacy organizations, has launched a multi-year US National Advocacy and Awareness Campaign, Healing Minds, Powering Communities, to effect policy change, increase public funding and expand access to proven, community-based solutions such as the Clubhouse Model of psychosocial rehabilitation.
Fountain House will be welcoming our third group of Executive Leadership Fellows for their first phase of training on Friday, January 20th. Jill Horan is from Wellspring Clubhouse in Pennsylvania, Jay Brubaker is from Circle City Clubhouse in Indiana and Johan Rydergard is from Fontanhuset Skondal in Sweden.
Fellows will integrate state of the art management techniques with the ideals and approaches to social practice originated at Fountain House and practiced in clubhouses throughout the world.
