Venture House is a community based non-profit, mental health agency, utilizing the Clubhouse Model of Psychosocial Rehabilitation. Venture House is dedicated to supporting the wellness and recovery of individuals living with mental health challenges. We are seeking a dynamic, innovate Director for our Queens Clubhouse

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulatory requirements
• Coordinate with CFO/CPO in fiscal oversight of Clubhouse expenditures
• Monitor scope of service requirements, ensuring contractual obligations are met
• Coordinate with staff in establishing robust and engaging work ordered day in all units
• Track census and attendance and monitor trends
• Work with CPO to establish and track Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
• Submit all reports to DOHMH and OMH on a timely basis
• Oversee recruitment and hiring process for all program staff
• Ensure all staff adhere to agency policies and procedures
• Provide supervision of managers to support professional development
• Oversee/Conduct/Participate in the performance evaluation of all program staff as appropriate
• Ensure documentation in electronic health records is thorough, timely and in compliance with HIPAA
• Coordinate with Development Director on outreach efforts and community affairs
• Establish collaborative partnerships with community stakeholders
• Establish partnerships with referral sources
• Participate in marketing efforts in conjunction with Outreach Coordinator
• Coordinate facilities management, ensuring all inspections are conducted as scheduled
• Report repair and maintenance needs to senior leadership
• Establish and maintain affiliation agreements with educational institutions, providing internship opportunities for students of social work, OT,
• Nursing, Medicine, etc.
• Provide senior level crisis intervention
• Respond promptly to any potential formal complaints and/or grievances
• Mentor staff in maintaining professionalism in the workplace
• Participate in facilitating agency-wide trainings
• Oversee vocational and educational services
• Oversee social programming and outings
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required knowledge, skills, and abilities

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Basic computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook). · Maintain friendly, caring, and professional comportment at all times
• Work is trauma informed, person-centered and strength-based · Handle crises in a skilled, supportive, and effective manner
• Understanding of the Clubhouse Model and/or rehabilitation and recovery principles

Required and preferred knowlege, experience, and education

• Master’s degree and licensure preferred
• Clubhouse experience preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Supervisory experience required
• Willingness to attend Comprehensive Clubhouse training
