Our Impact

Our Global Reach

380+ Clubhouses across the globe

Over75Years Founded in 1948, the Model has proven to work across generations, borders, and cultures

Our Work in Action

One Model, one standard -everywhere in the world

Without a shared foundation, the promise of the Clubhouse Model could get lost as it crosses cultures and borders.

The Solution: Clubhouse International is the steward for the International Standards for Clubhouse Programs™, keeping the model true wherever it's practiced.

Accreditation is a stamp of quality

Mental health programs may call themselves a Clubhouse, but without quality assurance and fidelity to the model, outcomes can vary widely.

The Solution: Clubhouse International Accreditation is the global standard for Clubhouse quality. Accreditation demonstrates that a Clubhouse meets rigorous international standards for effective practice, community, and member experience. It is required for all Clubhouses four or more years old to maintain membership in the Clubhouse International network.

Not enough Clubhouses exist to meet the need

There are not enough Clubhouses for everyone who needs one. Growing the global network is among the most urgent and cost-effective investments in mental health.

The Solution: We help communities start and grow Clubhouses worldwide.

Starting a Clubhouse takes more than a manual

New and growing Clubhouses face real challenges long after their doors open.

The Solution: Clubhouse International provides hands-on mentoring and technical assistance every step of the way for both new and established Clubhouses, both 1:1 and through Coalition & Association groups.

Great outcomes require great practice

Training is essential to what makes a good Clubhouse deliver great outcomes.

The Solution: Clubhouse International delivers a robust annual calendar of training, conferences and seminars for staff and members to share proven best practices.

People with lived experience are left out of the conversation

Policies about mental illness are too often written without input from the people they affect most.

The Solution: Clubhouse International advocates for policies shaped by the voices of members themselves. From Faculty to Board Service to Advocacy work, members are core to all we do.
