Hope Community Center seeks Clubhouse Generalist

About Us:
Hope Community Center is a dedicated to providing a supportive, recovery-oriented environment for adults living with mental illness. Our Clubhouse program fosters community, purpose, and empowerment through meaningful activities, social connections, and skill-building opportunities.

Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Clubhouse Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will support Clubhouse members in various work-ordered day activities, helping to facilitate social engagement, vocational development, and independent living skills. This role requires flexibility, creativity, and a strong commitment to recovery-based principles.

Key Responsibilities:
Engage members in daily operations of the Clubhouse, including clerical, culinary, maintenance, and employment-related tasks.
Assist in planning and facilitating structured activities, community outings, and skill-building.
Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment where members feel valued and empowered.
Provide individual support and mentorship to members, promoting recovery and self-sufficiency.
Support members in transitional, supported, and independent employment opportunities.
Assist with record-keeping, documentation, and reports as needed.
Collaborate with other staff and community partners to enhance services and opportunities for members.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or at least 3 years experience in the behavioral health field.
Experience with Medicaid billing preferred.
Passion for working with individuals in recovery from mental illness and/or substance use disorders.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Experience with the Clubhouse Model or peer support services is a plus.
