My name is Hanne Juul. I live in the Northern part of Denmark.
I was educated occupational therapist in 1970. The following 21 years I worked as director of the occupational ward at a big psychiatric hospital. In 1983 - 1986 I took an education as drawing therapist.
My career within clubhouses started in 1990 where I worked with a group of 4 to open Kildehuset – Fountain House in Aalborg, Denmark. I became the director and worked there until October 2010 when I retired.
In 2010 I took the initiative to open the Clubhouse in Frederikshavn. Both clubhouses are accredited for 3 years. I have been a member of the Clubhouse International Advisory Board from 1994-2010 and joined all International seminars except for one and almost all the European clubhouse seminars.
I am on the board of the Danish Coalition, the clubhouse in Frederikshavn and the board of relatives at kildehuset- Fountain House in Aalborg. Besides I was the chair person of the board at the clubhouse in Vejle for 5 years.
Since 2011 I have been on the Clubhouse International Board.
Clubhouse International has changed my life.
